The 2022 BMW X1 and X2 Sport Collection models have been announced for Australia, with the former due to arrive in showrooms this month.
The Bavarian carmaker has revealed pricing and features details for its new Sport Collection trim, which was also added to its 1, 2 and 3 Series line-up in February this year.
The new trim will be available on the petrol X1 sDrive 18i and sDrive20i variants, as well as the petrol X2 sDrive18i and will nestle in between the base xLine and top-spec M Sport grades.
2022 BMW X1 and X2 Sport Collection Australian pricing
The new Sport Collection trim for the X1 sDrive18i comes at an $8000 increase over the regular grade ($47,900), or an $11,000 hike compared to the normal sDrive20i ($56,900).
Additionally, the X2 sDrive18i Sport comes in at $10,000 more than the existing variant ($49,900).
However, in both cases the price difference does include on-road costs so the rises would be lower in real terms.
Pricing is drive-away.
