Jaguar has released local pricing and specification details for the slightly updated 2023 I-Pace, headlined by standard Amazon Alexa functionality – along with price rises between $4118 and $4748.

The voice assistant will also become available to all Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles fitted with the Pivi Pro infotainment system via an over-the-air software update, including the MY21 and MY22 I-Pace.

JLR says more than 6400 local owners with compatible cars will be able to access Alexa when the update is released.

The electric SUV also gains the newly-optional Premium Black Pack, priced at $5008, adding a gloss black finish to the front grille, window surrounds, side mirrors and rear badges, along with 22-inch black alloy wheels and electronic air suspension.

Missing pieces

Despite price increases, the I-Pace has had a number of items relegated from its standard features set, to the optional extras lists. These include the driver's head-up display ($1040), headlight power washers, boot lid spoiler, passenger seat memory settings, and the sunglasses holder. The Antenna pod is now also black, instead of colour-matched with the body.

To Jaguar's credit, it has at least made wireless charging a standard feature.

Apart from the addition of ostuni white to the colour palette, the I-Pace – which competes with the Audi E-Tron, BMW iX and Mercedes-Benz EQC – remains otherwise unchanged for model-year 2023.
