You’ll find our full story on the car here, but for a quick summary, the XC packs an 8/71 blown 408 Cleveland mill, paired to a T56 manual and bulletproof nine-inch rear.

If you can manage to look past the incredibly smooth panels, you’ll find a gorgeous custom baby-blue interior. At $80,500 as of Friday arvo, it’s still a fair way off reserve.

Put together by Chrysler Australia, we reckon this Commer 250 van is an awesome alternative to super-pricey Kombis or rusted-out Bedfords.

It looks like a super-tidy example, with a simple-but-charming period fitout. That said, Telfo points out it would probably need an LS swap to get out of its own way. It’s about halfway to reserve, with a top bid of $10,100 so far.

Next up, we’ve got a cult hero AU XR8 ute. With almost 290,000 kilometres on the clock it’s a bit rough around the edges, but a five-speed manual ‘box makes the most of the 185kW on offer from the fivel-litre Windsor.

Other good bits include proper Tickford wheels, touch-screen head unit and a Momo tiller in worn, but usable, shape. At time of writing, it has hit reserve with a top bid of $3509. Oh, and did we mention it’s P-plate legal?

Two early Commodores are tipped to fetch big results, starting with this all-matching VK Blue Meanie. The survivor car is number 60 of 500 built, and comes with plenty of documentation and bookwork. It’s nudging $105,000 at time of writing, with no reserve.

Meanwhile, this last-of-its-breed VL Walkinshaw is edging closer to its reserve, so far pulling a top bid of $195,251. It’s got 34,000km on the clock, equating to just 1000km a year since it rolled out of the HSV skunkworks.

Here’s a gorgeous 265-powered VH Charger with no reserve. Originally a Blonde Olive Charger 770, it’s been dolled up as an R/T and dipped in Hemi orange.

Aside from the typical stripe, light and trim package, the 770 has also copped a/c and power steering to make life that little bit more comfortable. At $38,100 with a few days of bidding left, it could be a bargain way into one of Australia’s most iconic coupes.

This corker EJ was screwed together by Mick at Glenlyon Motors, with a mod-plated 355 Holden under the bonnet.

The bench seat, column auto car sports a brace of extra gauges, an alarm system, and a neat set of 15-inch alloys.

Loving the GR Corolla, but don’t quite have the coin? This rare Corolla Sportivo might go a way to scratching the itch! Care of a boosted 1.8, these limited-run cars made 115kW at the flywheel in factory spec.

We’re told this car has received a fair bit of work, including a new VF20 turbo, Haltech 1500 engine management, and a cat-back exhaust – alongside some sympathetic maintenance. With a tune from Northmead Autocare, the pocket rocket hit a not-to-be-sneezed-at 110kW at the front tyres.

You’ll find heaps more cars on the Grays website, with most lots ending on Tuesday night.
