Christmas is nearly upon us, and our mates at Seven82Motors are getting in the swing early with their final classic car auction of the year.

There’s literally a shed-load of quality gear lining up for their final auction of the year. Bidding is live and opened on 28 November, and starts wrapping up from 6pm AEST on 5 November.

1996 HSV VS GTSR

Yep, there’s a genuine Big Banana in this auction, this one being build #11 of the 85 to roll out of Clayton in 1996.

The odo indicates 48,000 kilometres, which is reflected in the condition of the car. The original 215kW 5.7-litre stroker is still there of course, as is the six-speed manual. The dash is signed by Craig Lowndes as well, if that tickles you the right way.

1982 HDT VH Commodore SS Group 3

The rare Holdens continue with this genuine 1982 HDT VH Group 3, fully restored to factory spec.

The matching numbers 5.0-litre V8 is there, as is the four-cog M21 manual ‘box. It’s a factory power steering and air con car, and the Irmscher wheels have been fully restored to go with the fresh Maranello Red paintwork. There’s also a genuine Blue Meanie in the field if that’s more your poison.

1976 Holden Torana LX SS hatch

The LX hatch is arguably the most desirable Torana shape, and this one is a genuine SS so expect some bloody hot bidding.

She’s undergone a full nut and bolt restoration, with a beefing up of the 253 Thongslapper and a refresh of the original white paint with A9X flares. If earlier Torana coupe is more your flavour, there’s also a genuine LC GTR in the mix as well.

1967 Ford Falcon XR ute

This XR Falcon ute fits perfectly into the Street Machine category, rocking a 383-cube Cleveland stroker built by Jason Mansweto, a C4 auto, nine-inch diff, and the awesome Outlaw Drag Intensity wheels that measure 15x10 in the rear.

Combine that with custom Brass Pearl paint that pays tribute to the XR GT and the full engineering in NSW, you can’t go wrong.

1974 Ford Falcon XB GT coupe

If you prefer your V8 Falcons as matching numbers hero cars, then this genuine XB GT coupe is just about as good as it gets.

This is said to be a one-of-one in this spec, featuring restored Burnt Orange paint, wind-back sunroof, power windows and air con. And you get the original 351 Cleveland, a C4 ‘box and nine-inch rear.

1981 Ford Fairmont Ghia ESP

There’s plenty of special Fords in this auction, but this XD Fairmont Ghia is a particularly rare bird. Not only is it in pristine condition, but it’s got enough factory fruit to make any Ford nerd weak at the knees.

It’s an original 351 and manual four-speed car, with power sunroof, ESP interior, power everything and even has the original wheels and tyres. The original Hermitage colour has had a blow over, and it comes with a letter confirming this as a one of one spec Fairmont.

1970 Holden HT panel van

Everyone loves a shaggin’ wagon, and this 1970 HT panel van looks bloody slick in its black suit, with 308 grunt rowed through a four-speed manual.

It was fully restored last year, with GTS front guards, air con and subtle Candy Apple red stripes on the bonnet. Like many in this list she also has air con, so it’d make for an awesome street burler.

1963 Chevy Bel Air wagon

I tell you what, we can’t think of a better summer cruiser than this 1963 Chevy Bel Air wagon. Being a twin bench seat with a dicky seat in the rear, this thing and comfortably sit nine – yep, nine! – people, so it’s the perfect pub run machine.

Obviously the exterior features heavily customised gold metallic paint, and the thing airs out on air ride suspension all ‘round. Power comes from a Blueprint 383 small-block Chevy, fed through a turbo ‘350 box. It that’s plenty of poke for a cruiser, and the best bit is that it even has air conditioning!

1970 Ford XY Falcon wagon limousine

Another custom wagon up for grabs is this stretched six-door 1970 XY Falcon, a one-off executive limo commissioned by B.S Stillwell Ford.

Having been lovingly restored by the current owner, and is said to be a one of one. Cool features include 351 V8 power, air conditioning, disc brakes, power steer and 15-inch 12 slotter wheels.

1970 Plymouth Duster

Roadkill fans will froth this H-Code 340 1970 Plymouth Duster, which has been fully restored in Vitamin C orange with a black interior.

She’s still left hook, with a 727 ‘box behind that 340 Mopar V8 and rocking rally-style wheels. It’s not often you see yank tanks outside the golden hero cars come up for auction here, but if proper hero cars are your thing there’s also a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in the auction.
