Street Machine Summernats 34 City Cruise

Street Machine Summernats 34 kicked off today with the annual City Cruise down Northbourne Avenue.

The cruise has ramped up in size each year and this year hosted 500 killer entrant cars - and the citizens of Canberra turned out in force to enjoy the spectacle.

The remainder of the day was taken up with Skid Row mayhem, judging in the elite hall and the Last Chance Wildcard skids.

Tomorrow will be a cracker, with Horsepower Heroes commencing in the dyno hall, burnout championship qualifying, the Great Uncover in the Elite Hall and a massive concert with Hooligan Hefs and Kerser.
