Isuzu
Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Isuzu Ute Australia was founded in 2008 with its first offering for the local market being the Isuzu D-MAX ute.
In 2013, Isuzu Ute Australia added the 7-seat Isuzu MU-X wagon to its range.
New-generation versions of the D-Max and MU-X were introduced, respectively, in 2020 and 2021.
While relatively new to the market, Isuzu Ute Australia has already made a big impact in the four-wheel-drive ute and SUV space, being crowd favourites for off-roaders and those who regularly tow caravans or decent loads.
Both the 4x4 Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X are powered by the 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX turbo diesel common-rail engine, now producing 140kW and 450Nm. It is a motor that has been highly revered for both reliability and excellent fuel economy.
