VIDEO: DOC FROM STREET OUTLAWS INTERVIEW

DOC from the hit US street racing reality TV show Street Outlaws was in town for Powercruise recently. We caught up with him for a chat about the show and the Street Beast Monte Carlo he races.

For those who don’t know, the series revolves around a Top 10 list of cars and drivers, and the guys race each other on the street to try and make it to number one. Doc – otherwise known as James Love away from the small screen – is currently in fourth position.

A cool thing about Doc’s monster 706-cube Monte Carlo is that it uses an Australian-developed Haltech engine management system. In past seasons the car has had a few dramas, but the upcoming eighth season will see Doc debut the car with the Haltech unit and it’s running a lot better now. Doc reckons he’ll be tough to beat in the next season of Street Outlaws.
