In the last episode of Carnage, you would’ve seen Scotty give our L67-swapped VN Berlina some much-needed love via a water leak fix, new starter motor, and a higher-stall torque converter from our mates at AllFast Converters in Perth.
He also fitted a larger 69mm throttlebody that a fan made for us, and swapped to a larger pulley to reduce the load on the blower, keep intake temps down and (hopefully) make more power.
On top of all that, Scotty swapped out the blower for another he borrowed from Dandenong Mechanics’ Institute, as the one that was on there was pretty rooted.
So in this episode, we head to the dyno at Maxx Performance to see how much of a difference these basic changes have made.
Did we make more power? Well, grab your favourite drink, sit back and watch the video above to find out! And before you know it, we’ll be back at the track with the VN to see what it can run.
And don't forget to enter Ryobi's competition Scotty mentions at the start of the episode, where you'll go in the running to win this slick Ryobi 18V ONE+ Fridge Freezer and prize pack including an 18V ONE+ tool of your choice under $500. Just follow this link here, select the tool you'd want most and tell them Street Machine sent you. It's that easy!
